DESCRIPTION:
Balaoan Central School is a public elementary school founded in 1920. The two Gabaldon buildings were the first buildings of the school. These buildings served as Japanese Garrison during the World War II.
Gabaldon buildings were named in honor of the late Isauro Gabaldon, an Assemblyman who authored the law for the construction of school buildings in different parts of the country.
Until now, these Gabaldon buildings are still intact and pupils and teachers are still using it. Gabaldon Building I (Primary Building) is located at Gate I of the school and it has 7 rooms. The Gabaldon Building II (Intermediate Building) is located at Gate 3 and has four rooms.
These two Gabaldon buildings have become a part of the history and culture of Balaoan residents. Many professionals have graduated from this school.
