AIP Workshop

The heads of offices of the local government of Balaoan, La Union headed by Mayor Aleli U. Concepcion, attend an orientation on Annual Investment Program (AIP) Formulation conducted by the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (OPPDC) headed by EnP. Michaela Louise Delfinado and Provincial Budget Officer (PBO), Ms. Catherine E. Franco at the LGU Conference Hall on June 20, 2023.
The activity aims to capacitate our office heads in linking the plan to the annual budget as provided by Sec. 305 (i) of the Local Government Code (LGC). The LGC states that local budgets shall operationalize the approved local development plans.
The AIP refers to the annual slice of the three-year Local Development Investment Plan (LDIP), which constitutes total resource requirements for all programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) consisting of the annual capital expenditure and regular operating requirements of the LGU.
