The old Robinson Piano was bought in 1910 by the Nuval Family in Cabua-an. It was transported from Germany to Manila through plane and from Manila to La Union via train.
The story on the exact date when the acacia tree at the Balaoan Town Plaza was planted remains unknown but according to old folks, the Acacia Tree was already planted even before they were born.
The Osias-Basconcillo Ancestral House is one of the few old houses in the municipality. It is located at the town’s pueblo or poblacion area. It is near the Balaoan Public Market and a few meters away from the church and the municipal hall.
