Gov. Pacoy Distributes ESA to Victims of Typhoon Lando
A total of one hundred sixty six (166) families reported affected during the surge of Typhoon “Lando” in October 2015 were given the Emergency Shelter Assistance (ESA). This is a program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the Office of the Provincial Government to help the affected families reconstruct/repair their damaged houses.
Governor Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III attended the ESA distribution last March 16, 2017 at the Balaoan Farmers Civic Center. Ten (10) families whose houses were totally damaged received P30,000.00 each while one hundred fifty six (156) families with partially damaged houses received P10,000.00 each. The assistance given is for the purchase of materials for the repair of their houses to provide comfort and safety to their families.
