Groundbreaking of Balaoan FCC (April 28, 2023)

Municipal officials headed by Mayor Aleli Concepcion together with Punong Barangays, LGU department heads, Presidents of Tobacco Farmers Associations of Balaoan, officers of Balaoan Market Vendors Association, representatives from the National Tobacco Administration and other guests attend the milestone Groundbreaking of the Balaoan Farmers Commercial Center at Barangay Nalasin on April 28, 2023. Prior to the groundbreaking, Rev. Fr. Roberto Benito L. Collado led the invocation and blessed the plan, construction paraphernalia and time capsule.
The Balaoan Farmers Commercial Center is the biggest project funded exclusively by the local government of Balaoan from its share in Virginia tobacco excise taxes under Republic Act 7171 amounting to Php 110,000,000.
