La Union Basanihan (March 15, 2023)

Mayor Aleli Concepcion attends the simultaneous La Union Basanihan program at Balaoan Central School on March 15, 2023, in connection with the #AyatFestival2023. Said program is an initiative of the Provincial Government of La Union in partnership with the La Union Schools Division and the Local Government Units of La Union.

Dr. Dominga N. Lim, Administrative Officer of LUSDO, Dr. Alejo R. De Sesto, PSDS of Balaoan District, Dr. Mark Anthony Tomboc, Chief of Hospital of Balaoan District Hospital, and Ms. Evelyn Valdez, principal of Balaoan Central School were among the readers together with Mayor Aleli. They read the ABCs of La Union to Grade IV pupils of Balaoan Central School.

The local government of Balaoan fully supports the PGLU in improving the quality of education in the province through reading enhancement programs.
