Malunggay Planting (July 17, 2023)

The local government of Balaoan headed by Mayor Aleli Concepcion conducts malunggay planting activity on July 17, 2023, participated in by the Balaoan scholars and breastfeeding mothers as part of the celebration of the 49th Nutrition Month.
The “Gulayan ng mga Scholars” was established at Brgy. Nagsabaran Norte because it has one of the highest numbers of malnourished children in the municipality, while the “Gulayan ng mga Nanay” was established at Brgy. Patpata because it has the highest number of pregnant women at present.
