MAYOR ALELI CONCEPCION IS MOST OUTSTANDING MAYOR FOR 2020

Balaoan, La Union – Lady Mayor and Lawyer Aleli Concepcion is named one of the Most Outstanding Mayors for 2020 by the Superbrands Marketing International (SMI).

Concepcion, a former village chief before becoming the mayor of the Municipality of Balaoan in 2016, is among the local chief executives honored by SMI for displaying exemplary public service performance.
SMI recognizes products and elevates them to the rankings of brand excellence including its category in politics and governance and is the world’s largest independent arbiter of branding with programs in more than 90 countries.

With Mayor Aleli Concepcion at the helm of this first class municipality, Balaoan has been at its golden years having received the most number of awards and commendations both at local and national levels- a solid proof of her exceptional leadership which gained the respect and esteem of her colleagues and constituents.

The Most Outstanding Mayor Award (MOMA) is the result of a comprehensive research and analysis carried out by the Superbrands Selection Committee Council composed of luminaries from public relations, civic and institutional organizations being part of the international standard of brands and services category worldwide.

Other awardees include Mayor Isko Moreno of the City of Manila, Mayor Richard Gomez of Ormoc City and 24 local chief executives from different regions in the country.

The awarding ceremony was initially scheduled last March 26, 2020 at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Makati City, but has been cancelled indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
