PalaySikatan Techno-demo at Brgy. Sablut (March 28, 2023)

The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), in collaboration with local government of Balaoan headed by Mayor Aleli U. Concepcion, conducts a Field Day and Participatory Varietal Selection at the PalaySikatan Technology Demonstration Farm at Brgy. Sablut on March 28, 2023, led by Mr. Clarence T. Dangcil, Techno-demo officer.
Said activity is part of the RCEF-Seed Program which is one of the four programs of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) from Republic Act 11203 or the Rice Tariffication Law that aims to increase the number of farmers using quality rice seeds to increase their yields.
