SK Mandatory Training (November 9, 10, 13, 2023)

The newly elected Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of the municipality undergo a Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT), facilitated by the local government of Balaoan headed by Mayor Aleli Concepcion, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), on November 9-10 and 13, 2023 at the LGU Conference Hall.
In order to achieve the objective of equipping newly-elected Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials with essential knowledge and skills to be effective and efficient leaders, the program covered key topics, as follows:
1. Decentralization & Local Governance, and SK History and Salient Features – LGOO II Jayson Ordinario, LGOO II Hedrich V. Calderon, and LGOO II Archie F. Amon;
2. Meetings and Resolutions – Atty. Rollidel Concepcion, Sangguniang Bayan Secretary;
3. Planning and Budget – Mr. Cornelio Octavo, Sr., Municipal Budget Officer, and EnP. Charlie Balanon, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator; and
4. Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards – Engr. Nadine Concepcion, Municipal Administrator.
After the training, Mayor Aleli Concepcion administered the oath of office of the SK officials and stressed upon them to uphold their roles with integrity and dedication.
